The collaboration integrates Armadillo’s protection directly into the Waltz digital lending workflow. For investors managing rental properties across more than 40 states, this eliminates the immediate financial uncertainty caused by sudden HVAC or appliance failures. By automating the warranty at closing, the companies aim to remove the logistical burden of vetting repair services from thousands of miles away.
"Buying a home in a country you don't live in is stressful enough without worrying about who to call when something breaks," said Andy Bodrog of Armadillo. The initiative is designed to provide a safety net for international investors and families alike, ensuring that property maintenance is handled without the need for urgent coordination across time zones. Once the initial 100-day period expires, owners can transition into standard Armadillo plans, which are specifically structured for both owner-occupied homes and rental investments. Waltz CEO Yuval Golan noted that the integration is part of a broader strategy to offer a fully digital infrastructure for modern real estate, reducing friction at every stage of the investment lifecycle.
