Stellic, a platform currently managing academic planning for over one million students, is partnering with Anthropic and Lovable to host the competition. The initiative aims to shift the power dynamic in higher education by allowing the primary users of campus systems—the students—to architect the fixes for obstacles like complex paperwork, degree planning, and the transition into professional careers.
No formal coding experience is required to enter. Participants receive free credits for the Claude API or Lovable, a platform that generates working applications from plain-language prompts. Teams of up to three can submit their projects across four categories, provided they include a demo video and a project write-up. Winners will be selected for a prize pool totaling $12,000, with top teams earning an invitation to present their work to college leaders at the Stellic Summit in Philadelphia on September 23, 2026. Submissions remain open until August 21, 2026.
