Advisors function as a bridge between the National Trust and regional stakeholders, offering guidance on everything from Historic Tax Credits to Main Street development. According to Edward I. Torrez, Chair of the National Trust Advisors, the new members bring the necessary breadth of experience to address the complexities of modern preservation. The group includes representatives from 17 states and territories, spanning from Alaska to the U.S. Virgin Islands, tasked with supporting the Trust’s mission to safeguard the nation’s cultural heritage.
