These funds are earmarked for expanding manufacturing capacity, building a dedicated US commercial team, and facilitating the rollout of Neonav to major children’s hospitals later this year.

Neonav utilizes real-time intravascular ECG to assist in the placement and surveillance of central venous access devices. While ECG-guided placement is standard for adults, clinicians have historically relied on X-ray confirmation for infants, a method that can expose vulnerable patients to repeat imaging and delayed detection of catheter migration. According to CEO Alex Newton, the system provides a specialized solution for a demographic long underserved by existing medical technology. The company recently secured an expanded FDA indication, covering a broad range of vascular access procedures, including umbilical venous catheters, which strengthens its competitive position in the US market.
