Stepan Company Maintains Dividend Streak for 58th Year

Stepan Company has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.395 per share, extending a legacy of consecutive annual increases that spans nearly six decades. The payout is scheduled for distribution on September 15 to shareholders of record as of September 1, 2026, according to the Northbrook-based chemical manufacturer.

The latest declaration follows a $0.010 per share boost implemented in the fourth quarter of 2025. This move reinforces the company’s long-standing financial policy of returning capital to investors, a practice maintained consistently for 58 years.

Headquartered in Illinois, Stepan produces specialty surfactants and polyurethane polyols, serving industries ranging from consumer cleaning to thermal insulation. The company operates an international network of production facilities, with its common stock listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker SCL.
