LendingTree Insurance Segment Powers 25% Revenue Growth

LendingTree reported $313.4 million in consolidated revenue for the second quarter of 2026, a 25% increase compared to the same period last year. The growth was primarily propelled by the company's insurance segment, which saw a 42% revenue surge even as other divisions faced varying degrees of market pressure.

The company’s insurance arm generated $209.3 million in revenue, resulting in $50 million in segment profit. This performance helped offset sluggishness elsewhere in the portfolio. The consumer segment, for example, saw revenue dip 4% to $60.3 million, a decline leadership attributed to weakened borrower demand within its small business category throughout the quarter.

CEO Scott Peyree highlighted that the firm has now achieved eight consecutive quarters of double-digit year-over-year adjusted EBITDA growth. Beyond financial results, the company is leaning into automation, launching new AI capabilities and a dedicated ChatGPT app. While the small business sector struggled earlier this year, management noted that demand has stabilized, with expectations for sequential revenue growth through the remainder of 2026. Looking ahead, LendingTree projects full-year revenue between $1.30 billion and $1.32 billion.
