The four-week tournament, beginning November 2, 2026, features 16 of the most popular esports titles and a total prize pool of $20 million. As the Official Kit Partner, adidas will produce custom apparel for each delegation, aiming to replicate the prestige and national identity associated with traditional sporting events. The Esports Foundation has spent months building the tournament’s infrastructure, appointing over 700 national team coaches and establishing partnerships across 100 territories to professionalize the talent pipeline.

Mohammed Al Nimer, Chief Commercial Officer at the Esports Foundation, noted that the jerseys serve as symbols of national pride, intended to elevate esports athletes to the same status as traditional sports competitors. Phillip Waller, adidas SVP of Brand Development, added that the company is leveraging its decades of experience in major global events to establish a new cultural footprint within the digital competition space. Beyond the tournament, the initiative includes a $20 million Development Fund dedicated to sustaining local esports ecosystems and supporting national team operations.
