Columbus McKinnon Raises Fiscal 2027 Outlook After Record Sales

Columbus McKinnon reported a 125% year-over-year surge in net sales to $531.5 million for the first quarter of fiscal 2027. This growth, fueled by the integration of Kito Crosby Limited and robust U.S. demand, prompted the company to increase its full-year financial guidance for both revenue and earnings.

The Charlotte-based firm, which finalized its acquisition of Kito Crosby in February 2026, saw orders climb 120% to $568.1 million. While the company recorded a net loss of $88.7 million—largely attributed to $70.3 million in acquisition and integration expenses—its adjusted metrics signaled underlying strength. Adjusted EBITDA reached $111.5 million, reflecting a margin expansion of 720 basis points to 21%.

CEO David J. Wilson noted that the company is successfully capturing synergies from the merger while benefiting from high short-cycle demand. Bolstered by this performance, management raised its fiscal 2027 sales outlook to a range of $2.09 billion to $2.15 billion. Adjusted EPS guidance was also lifted to between $1.90 and $2.10, as the company focuses on de-leveraging its balance sheet and maintaining consistent dividend payments.
