EY and SymphonyAI Partner to Scale Industrial AI in Manufacturing

Ernst & Young LLP is expanding its alliance with SymphonyAI to integrate industrial artificial intelligence into manufacturing and supply chain operations. By moving beyond isolated pilot projects, the collaboration aims to embed AI-native intelligence directly into enterprise workflows to improve predictability and asset performance across global manufacturing sites.

The partnership leverages SymphonyAI’s IRIS Foundry platform, which has been trained on data from over 80,000 industrial assets. By incorporating these capabilities into the EY.ai Order-to-Cash Value Blueprint, the companies intend to replace fragmented point solutions with an integrated approach to operational intelligence. According to Rodrigo Cambiaghi, Digital Operations Leader at EY US, the focus is on achieving measurable results by designing operations that are AI-native from the start rather than retrofitting technology onto legacy systems.

Prateek Kathpal, President of SymphonyAI Industrial, noted that the primary challenge for manufacturers is structural rather than technical, as businesses often struggle to replicate successful AI pilots across multiple sites. This alliance addresses that friction by standardizing AI-driven processes across complex, multisite environments. For clients in sectors like energy, life sciences, and consumer goods, the integration promises reduced unplanned spending, enhanced supplier visibility, and more accurate material requirements planning. This expansion reinforces EY’s broader strategy of building an ecosystem of AI-native partners to accelerate digital transformation while minimizing implementation risks.
