HKeyBio Launches AI-to-In Vivo Validation Program

Bridging the gap between computational hypothesis and biological reality, HKeyBio has introduced HKEY-AI2Vivo™ 1.0. The new service framework aims to accelerate the transition of AI-generated drug candidates for autoimmune and allergy research into actionable pharmacological and pre-IND evidence using specialized disease models.

While artificial intelligence has dramatically shortened the timeline for target discovery and antibody design, the transition to physical testing remains a primary bottleneck for biotech firms. HKeyBio’s new program targets this friction by providing a standardized pipeline for AI-native teams to validate their computational models through in vivo efficacy testing, immune phenotyping, and pharmacokinetic analysis.

The service structure addresses three core development stages: early-stage triage for candidate screening, comprehensive proof-of-concept packages for business development, and small-scale non-human primate studies for engineered biologics. By leveraging an existing library of over 500 animal models and 50 non-human primate models, the program offers a clear path toward regulatory-ready translational reporting. According to the company's Head of Translational Medicine, the initiative is designed to function as a dedicated partner for firms moving from digital hypothesis to the rigorous evidence required for pre-IND filings.
