Wix.com Faces Securities Lawsuit Over AI Platform Performance

Investors who held Wix.com Ltd. stock between February 19, 2025, and May 12, 2026, face a September 22, 2026, deadline to apply for lead plaintiff status in a class action lawsuit alleging the company misled shareholders regarding the capabilities of its flagship AI tool, Wix Harmony.

The litigation, filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, claims that Wix failed to disclose significant functional gaps within its AI-powered platform. According to the complaint, these technical limitations led professional developer customers to abandon the platform in favor of competing AI tools, a trend management allegedly obscured while maintaining an optimistic outlook on the product's market position.

The company’s stock performance mirrored the surfacing of these issues. Shares dropped $29.40 on May 21, 2025, and suffered a further decline of $20.56 on May 13, 2026, closing at $55.32 following a disappointing first-quarter earnings report. Attorney Joseph E. Levi of Levi & Korsinsky LLP is representing the class, asserting that investors were denied critical information regarding competitive risks that ultimately impacted their portfolios. Eligible participants include any investors who purchased securities during the defined class period and sustained financial losses, regardless of whether they currently hold the shares.
