Founded in 2014 by Andy Bender, TNA Fleet Services built its reputation on onsite preventive maintenance, bypassing the logistics of traditional repair shops. The company operates across six states—Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, and West Virginia—focusing on predictive diagnostics to minimize unplanned roadside downtime. Under the new agreement, TNA will maintain its established brand identity while retaining Bender and his leadership team to oversee operations.
Meridian CEO Frankie Costa highlighted the geographical synergy, noting that TNA’s footprint perfectly complements Meridian’s existing New England coverage. Unlike traditional private equity firms that often prioritize exit timelines, Meridian operates as a permanent capital platform. Bender, who previously withdrew from a potential deal with a private equity firm after feeling treated as a commodity, emphasized that Meridian’s approach felt more aligned with the family-oriented culture of his business. The partnership provides TNA with centralized support in finance, HR, and procurement, allowing the technical teams to focus exclusively on fleet maintenance and rapid market deployment.
