Federated Hermes Hits Record $911 Billion in Managed Assets

Federated Hermes reached a record $911.6 billion in total assets under management as of June 30, 2026, fueled by significant growth in equity assets and quantitative investment solutions. The Pittsburgh-based firm posted second-quarter earnings of $1.38 per diluted share, marking a notable increase over the $1.16 reported during the same period last year.

The firm’s performance saw equity assets climb to an all-time high of $109.6 billion, a 23% jump compared to the previous year. CEO J. Christopher Donahue attributed this momentum to record gross sales within the MDT quantitative suite, which logged its 14th consecutive quarter of net positive sales. Beyond core investment strategies, Federated Hermes diversified its portfolio by launching two exchange-traded funds and entering the blockchain ecosystem, while expanding its private markets footprint through a majority stake in FCP Fund Manager, L.P.

Financial results for the quarter reflected a broader revenue increase of 18%, driven by higher average equity and money market assets. In response to the firm's financial health, the board of directors declared a dividend of $0.38 per share, payable on August 14, 2026. Despite increased operating expenses—partly tied to the FCP acquisition and rising compensation costs—the company remains focused on scaling its active management offerings for its global client base of over 11,000 institutions.
