CEO Kevin Yeaman noted that the company is prioritizing growth in live sports and automotive entertainment, areas where Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision are increasingly standard. Recent integrations include Google’s Android Auto support for major automakers such as BMW and Mercedes, as well as the adoption of Dolby Vision in RayNeo augmented reality glasses and Insta360 cameras. The firm also expanded its Video Distribution Program by welcoming Meta Platforms as a licensee.
Financial results showed GAAP net income at $29 million, or $0.30 per diluted share, down from $46 million a year prior. The company’s board has authorized an additional $350 million for stock buybacks, bringing the total available for future repurchases to roughly $427 million. Looking ahead to the fourth quarter, management expects revenue to fall between $362 million and $392 million, with full-year fiscal 2026 revenue projected to hit a range of $1.41 billion to $1.44 billion.
