The company reported net income of $126 million for the quarter ending June 30, 2026, or $1.33 per diluted share. Net operating income reached $120 million, reflecting the firm's continued momentum in underlying business fundamentals. Total new annualized premiums rose 7%, a trend supported by sustained growth in the number of producing agents within both the consumer and worksite divisions.
CEO Gary C. Bhojwani attributed the improved outlook to consistent, repeatable results across the company’s diverse product lines. While navigating market volatility, CNO maintained an operating return on equity of 13.1%. The company also continued its capital return strategy, repurchasing $60 million of common stock during the quarter and maintaining a statutory risk-based capital ratio estimated at 377%.
