The group's performance was driven by a 24% jump in EBITDA, which reached $782 million, reflecting the integration of higher-margin international assets such as the Hellenic Healthcare Group. International operations now account for 33% of total revenue, a shift that underlines the company's strategy of geographic diversification. Within the UAE, hospital bed occupancy climbed to 75%, supported by a 7% increase in outpatient volumes and a 10% rise in inpatient activity through the second quarter.

The insurance vertical, branded as Cover, also demonstrated resilience with revenues climbing 10% to $1.1 billion. Total insured members reached 3.4 million, while the Daman insurance arm secured an A1 rating from Moody’s, the highest mark assigned to a UAE insurer. PureHealth executives noted that ongoing investments in AI-enabled technologies, such as the PureNet cloud platform and robotic surgical systems, remain central to their operational efficiency. Looking ahead, the group reaffirmed its financial targets, citing a robust pipeline of complex clinical procedures and continued expansion across its European and Middle Eastern markets.
