Atlanta-based IT services provider BlueAlly has acquired Miami-based GigaNetworks, a firm specializing in enterprise network security and infrastructure. The integration brings together two firms with nearly two decades of experience in the IT sector. While BlueAlly provides a broad suite of services ranging from cloud modernization to DevOps and managed infrastructure, GigaNetworks contributes a specialized focus on security planning, system evaluation, and bespoke technical support. According to BlueAlly Chief Revenue Officer Ian Daum, the acquisition was driven by a strong cultural alignment and a shared objective to simplify security postures for their combined client base.

David Mendenhall, CTO of GigaNetworks, emphasized that the deal grants their existing clients access to a significantly wider portfolio of solutions and national resources. Founded in 2008, GigaNetworks has built its reputation on a client-centric model involving hands-on system implementation and training. By joining forces, the two companies intend to offer a comprehensive partnership that covers the entire IT lifecycle, from initial assessment and design to ongoing management and threat protection.
