A longtime contributor to the Foundation, he previously served as vice chair and held positions on the hospital’s board and various investment committees. His background includes leadership roles at Butcher & Singer and American Funds, complemented by a degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

Jake Ploeger, co-CEO of the PJ Dick – Trumbull – Lindy Group, steps into the vice chair position with a history of community involvement, including chairing the "Walk for Children’s" committee. He joins a board of 46 civic and business leaders tasked with maintaining philanthropic momentum. Foundation President Rachel Petrucelli noted that the new leadership will focus on navigating a rapidly changing healthcare environment, ensuring the hospital remains at the forefront of pediatric medicine, research, and clinical innovation.
