Holand Leasing Absorbs Luxury Portfolio from John Scotti Receivership

By cherry-picking premium assets from the court-supervised John Scotti Leasing Inc. receivership, Holand Automotive Group has moved to consolidate its grip on the Canadian ultra-luxury market. The acquisition allows the firm to absorb high-end automotive leases that mirror its existing client profile without assuming the broader portfolio’s liabilities.

The deal, finalized August 3, 2026, focuses on specific marques that align with Holand’s established business model. Rather than a blanket takeover, management worked directly with the court-appointed receiver to isolate assets that ensure immediate value for both the firm and the incoming clientele. Gad Bitton, CEO of Holand Automotive Group, stated the move reflects a long-term strategy to provide continuity and white-glove service to new customers while maintaining the flexibility inherent in their leasing platform.

To manage the transition, Holand has appointed Senior Vice-President Janet Cully to oversee the integration, with Viki Forese handling day-to-day operations. The firm aims to honor existing arrangements for current lessees, emphasizing a seamless handover. This acquisition follows Holand’s established pattern of disciplined growth, further expanding the reach of an organization that currently manages marquee brands across North America and Europe, including Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, and Lamborghini.
