Bob Ross Joins LG Gallery+ to Turn Art TVs into Digital Canvases

The serene landscapes of Bob Ross are moving from the canvas to the living room as LG Electronics partners with Cineverse to bring his iconic paintings to the LG Gallery+ platform. Owners of LG Art TVs can now display the artist’s work, blending classic brushwork with modern display technology.

This collaboration allows users to integrate Ross’s famous "happy little trees" and mountain vistas directly into their home decor. The collection is accessible through the LG Gallery+ platform, which utilizes webOS to curate over 5,000 pieces of art. To encourage adoption, LG is offering a three-month free trial of the premium service for new users.

Beyond still images, the partnership expands the painter's presence on the platform through LG Channel 588. This dedicated feed broadcasts "The Joy of Painting" around the clock, drawing from a library of nearly 400 episodes. Joan Kowalski, President of Bob Ross Inc., noted that the digital integration fulfills a long-standing desire to experience the artist’s work in a fluid, high-definition format. The move complements LG’s existing Art TV lineup, which features specialized displays like the OLED evo G6 and W6 Wallpaper series, designed to mimic the aesthetic of a traditional gallery.
