Founded in 2002 by Mike Amato Sr. and Alan Kanoff, Camden Yards Steel has built a robust reputation for distributing hot rolled, cold rolled, and coated sheet products across the eastern United States. The company’s strategic location at the South Jersey Port Corporation on the Delaware River provides essential waterway access for international and domestic shipments, a key asset for the acquiring firm.

Under the terms of the acquisition, the company will maintain its operational continuity. Mike Amato Jr. and Alex Kanoff will lead the firm, with founder Mike Amato Sr. staying on in a senior role to help guide the transition. The partnership aims to leverage shared corporate values and existing synergies to accelerate growth within the competitive steel service center market.
