The independent music company saw its recorded music segment surge by 35%, reaching $14.1 million, while its music publishing division grew 6% to $26.5 million. Despite the top-line gains, the firm reported a net loss of $0.5 million, an improvement over the $0.6 million loss recorded in the same period last year. Adjusted EBITDA climbed 13% to $15.7 million, reflecting the company’s ongoing efforts to scale its operations.

CEO Golnar Khosrowshahi attributed the quarterly performance to a strategy of creative stewardship and market diversification. Recent moves include acquiring the catalog of independent Latin label Nacional Records and establishing a joint venture with TU Publishing. Additionally, the company secured a publishing deal with hip-hop artist T.I. and brought A&R executive Ollie Hodge’s label, Some Action, into its operations. Reservoir maintained its full-year fiscal 2027 outlook, anticipating revenue between $186 million and $191 million.
