Dr. Carr brings extensive experience in complex reconstructive and plastic surgery to the team, having previously served as an Assistant Professor and Plastic Surgery Residency Director at UNC Health. Her background includes a medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and dual residencies at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She is recognized for a career defined by both surgical precision and a commitment to teaching, having earned multiple faculty and resident awards throughout her academic tenure.

At Amelia Aesthetics, Dr. Carr will focus on breast augmentation and body contouring procedures, including tummy tucks and mommy makeovers. Beyond her clinical responsibilities, she will spearhead the newly launched Amelia Accelerator program, a residency initiative designed to mentor young surgeons entering private practice.
