The report highlights excellence in clinical outcomes, specifically noting that 37 Kaiser Permanente locations achieved high-performing status for musculoskeletal care, while 33 excelled in cardiac treatment and 26 in oncology. Beyond these specialty metrics, the organization secured national rankings or high-performance status in neurology, pulmonology, rehabilitation, and geriatrics. Andrew Bindman, MD, executive vice president and chief medical officer, attributed these results to the collaborative nature of the network’s care teams.

Institutional recognition extended to community-focused initiatives as well. For the third consecutive year, the Fontana, Ontario, and South Sacramento medical centers received the Best Regional Hospitals for Community Access Award, a distinction shared by fewer than 2% of all evaluated hospitals. Regional performance remained strong, with 17 California facilities ranking among the state's top 20% for overall care. Similar success was noted in Hawaii and Oregon, where the Moanalua Medical Center in Honolulu and Sunnyside Medical Center in Clackamas both secured second-place rankings for overall care in their respective states.
