Clarity Pharmaceuticals reports positive responses in SECuRE prostate cancer trial

Seven participants in the SECuRE trial have achieved complete response or undetectable disease levels following treatment with 67Cu-SAR-bisPSMA, according to new data from Clarity Pharmaceuticals. The findings, drawn from the 8 GBq dose cohorts, suggest significant anti-tumor activity in patients who had previously exhausted multiple lines of standard therapy.

The preliminary assessment, which covers 19 participants as of July 20, 2026, highlights that 81% of those evaluable for radiographic assessment achieved disease control. Among the participants, 74% recorded at least a 25% reduction in prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels, with over a quarter reaching a 90% decline. These outcomes are particularly notable given the patient history; 79% of the cohort had received five or more prior anti-cancer regimens before enrolling in the study.

Clarity Executive Chairperson Dr. Alan Taylor stated that the results demonstrate a consistent therapeutic effect, with nearly one-third of all evaluable patients at the 8 GBq dose level reaching complete response or undetectable status. The safety profile remained favorable, with the majority of reported adverse events, such as nausea or dry mouth, classified as mild or moderate and transient. The company continues to recruit for the trial's Cohort Expansion phase while planning for a future Phase III registrational study.
