GenScript and Tamarind Bio Link AI Design to Lab Validation

Artificial intelligence creates thousands of drug candidates in seconds, but physical proof remains the ultimate gatekeeper. GenScript Biotech and Tamarind Bio are now bridging this divide, launching a unified workflow that connects AI-generated molecular sequences directly to high-speed wet-lab synthesis and testing services.

The partnership integrates Tamarind Bio’s no-code platform—which hosts over 300 computational biology models—with GenScript’s established wet-lab infrastructure. By automating the transition from digital output to experimental evidence, the collaboration aims to eliminate manual handoffs that often stall research pipelines. Researchers can now move from a virtual sequence to model-ready data in as little as four days.

Ray Chen, President of GenScript Life Science Group, noted that while AI expands the scope of what is possible, biological viability remains the final arbiter of success. Deniz Kavi, CEO of Tamarind Bio, emphasized that the integration is designed to make advanced molecular design accessible, allowing scientists to transform digital concepts into actionable laboratory results with greater speed. This connection is expected to impact fields ranging from cell and gene therapy to industrial biotechnology, where rapid validation is critical for deciding which drug programs warrant further investment.
