The Dual Cargo Mirror System is designed to improve pilot situational awareness during complex long-line missions. The stainless-steel hardware mounts directly to existing aircraft fasteners, bypassing the need for structural modifications to the airframe. The dual-mirror configuration offers a primary adjustable field of view for load monitoring, supplemented by a secondary mirror focused on the cargo hook, which assists in precise positioning and release.
BLR Aerospace President Clay Bringhurst noted that the addition complements the company’s existing FastFin system, aiming to provide operators with a comprehensive suite of tools to improve mission effectiveness and safety. Boggi Aeronautics, an EASA Part 21 certified organization founded in 1999, views this partnership as a bridge to expanding its reach in the Western hemisphere. BLR has already established local inventory at its Washington facility to manage regional demand and reduce shipping lead times for operators throughout North and South America.
