Planet Fitness Faces Class Action Over Alleged Securities Fraud

Investors who purchased Planet Fitness stock between November 6, 2025, and May 6, 2026, are now the target of a class action lawsuit alleging the company misled the market regarding its growth strategies and national pricing initiatives.

The complaint filed against the fitness chain points to violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, specifically under Rule 10b-5. Plaintiffs allege that Planet Fitness overstated its capacity to attract new members through existing marketing channels and faltered in the implementation of its national Black Card price increase. These discrepancies rendered public statements made during the six-month class period materially false, according to the filing.

The DJS Law Group is currently soliciting shareholders to serve as lead plaintiffs in the litigation, with a court-imposed deadline of September 14, 2026. While the firm represents major hedge funds and asset managers in corporate governance and securities disputes, they emphasize that individual investors do not need to hold a lead plaintiff title to participate in any potential settlement or recovery of losses.
