AIQA Forms Advisory Board to Standardize Enterprise AI Governance

As corporations struggle to move beyond self-reported AI policies, Chicago-based AIQA Global has recruited an inaugural advisory board of cybersecurity, academic, and risk experts. The move aims to cement the firm’s AIQ™ Score—a 250-factor analytical framework—as the industry standard for independent, evidence-based AI governance.

The board’s creation follows a period of rapid AI integration that has outpaced existing oversight mechanisms. AIQA Global co-founder James E. Malackowski argues that current enterprise reliance on self-attestation is insufficient, comparing the need for rigorous AI auditing to the established controls used in cybersecurity and financial risk management. The new advisors are tasked with refining the AIQ™ Score to ensure it remains actionable and defensible under complex real-world conditions.

The founding advisors include Jon Held of J.S. Held LLC, who brings deep experience in insurance and technical assessments; Mike Hrabik, CEO of SecureSky, specializing in technical controls and threat defense; Harvard computer science professor Michael Mitzenmacher, who focuses on the algorithmic transparency of the scoring methodology; and Albert D. Napoli of the University of Southern California, who provides expertise in scaling business infrastructure. Together, these figures represent the interdisciplinary approach required to satisfy institutional buyers, insurers, and regulators who demand more than internal policy documents to mitigate modern AI risks.
