Since 2023, Columbia Bank has operated in the region under the guidance of Southern Colorado Market Director Alex Sullivan. Despite lacking a physical storefront, the bank successfully cultivated a deposit base and client roster by offering treasury management, commercial real estate lending, and debt capital market services. According to bank President Tory Nixon, the decision to establish a dedicated office stems from the strong market momentum and local relationships already forged by the team.
The new location, which celebrated its grand opening on July 15, marks a milestone in the bank's broader Colorado strategy. Since entering the state in 2022, Columbia has grown to four offices spanning the Denver and Colorado Springs markets. Sullivan, who previously spearheaded economic development initiatives in the city, will oversee the new site. The branch operates Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., providing a mix of personalized retail banking and specialized commercial services.
