Houston-based Drilling Tools International posted $38.1 million in second-quarter revenue, navigating a period of soft North American land activity and regional instability in the Middle East. The company’s quarterly performance highlighted a resilience in its rental-focused business model, with tool rental revenue reaching $29.6 million and product sales contributing $8.5 million. While the firm faced a net loss attributable to common stockholders of $0.05 per share, management emphasized that adjusted free cash flow grew on both a sequential and year-over-year basis. Chairman and CEO Wayne Prejean noted that disciplined execution remains a priority as the company prepares for a projected market rebound.

Operational headwinds in North America were countered by steady gains in the U.S. land rig count, which finished June above prior-year levels. Drilling Tools International is also seeing early success with its ClearPath stabilizer technology in offshore markets, particularly in Europe and the Gulf of Mexico. Given these trends, the company reaffirmed its full-year 2026 guidance, projecting revenue between $155 million and $170 million. With a net debt of $51.7 million as of June 30, the firm continues to eye accretive acquisitions while maintaining its focus on long-term shareholder value.
