Construction Partners Reports Record Backlog and Raises Full-Year Outlook

Construction Partners, Inc. posted a 28% jump in quarterly revenue to nearly $1 billion, signaling robust demand for infrastructure work across the Sunbelt. Despite facing energy cost inflation and heavy May rainfall, the Dothan-based firm hit a record $3.36 billion backlog, prompting management to boost their financial guidance for fiscal 2026.

The company’s performance highlights the success of its decentralized operating model, which helped offset regional weather disruptions. Net income climbed to $59.6 million for the quarter ending June 30, compared to $44 million during the same period last year. Adjusted EBITDA reached $163 million, marking a 23.8% increase that reflects the firm's ability to maintain margins despite wider market volatility.

Driving this momentum is the recent acquisition of Oklahoma-based Ellsworth Construction. The move deepens the company's reach into the Tulsa and Oklahoma City metropolitan areas and bolsters its growing portfolio in data center construction. With this expansion, Construction Partners now expects full-year revenue to land between $3.64 billion and $3.68 billion, while projecting adjusted EBITDA in the range of $559 million to $569 million.
