ADNOC Gas Beats Q2 Guidance Amidst Regional Maritime Disruptions

ADNOC Gas reported a net income of $665 million for the second quarter of 2026, exceeding its own guidance range of $400-600 million despite ongoing security challenges and maritime volatility in the Strait of Hormuz.

The company’s performance highlights a resilient operational strategy, with management confirming a quarterly dividend of $940 million. This payout maintains the firm’s commitment to a 5% annual dividend growth trajectory through 2030. CEO Fatema Al Nuaimi credited the results to disciplined capital execution, even as external factors constrained standard product liftings.

Central to the company's long-term outlook is the Rich Gas Development project, which has now reached a critical stage with $8.2 billion in new engineering and construction contracts awarded to Wison Engineering and Tecnimont. These investments, alongside ongoing work at the Habshan facility—where production recovery has reached 85% ahead of schedule—are projected to drive a 60% increase in EBITDA by 2030. ADNOC Gas plans to deploy $28 billion in capital over the next four years to underpin this expansion, while simultaneously integrating AI and robotics to reduce inspection costs and improve safety across its infrastructure.
