The company’s internal reorganization involved shedding legacy, non-neurology assets inherited from its business combination with Relief Therapeutics. By offloading these holdings, MindMaze intends to cut its cost base and concentrate resources on its precision neurotherapeutics platform. The divestment included both upfront cash and potential future payments.
Regarding the Neuro.io partnership, the first tranche of funding has been finalized. In exchange for the CHF 4 million, MindMaze transferred 4,970,000 treasury shares and converted CHF 2,850,900 in mandatory convertible loan notes into 12,395,217 ordinary shares. The remaining CHF 4 million is now slated for disbursement in two installments across September and November 2026. While the terms remain stable, management noted that the company is actively seeking further capital to bolster liquidity as it continues to expand its clinical footprint in stroke and Parkinson’s care.
