The daily purchase volume saw a significant uptick mid-week, moving from 500,000 shares per day to 1 million shares starting August 5. Prices fluctuated between 95.72 SEK and 97.68 SEK per share, settling at a weighted average of 96.87 SEK for the period. These acquisitions form part of a broader buyback initiative authorized for up to 15 billion SEK, running from April 2026 through March 2027.
Following these latest transactions, Ericsson now holds 95,169,316 Class B shares in its treasury. The board expects to propose the cancellation of these repurchased shares at next year’s shareholder meeting, excluding those reserved for existing incentive programs. The buybacks are conducted under the regulatory framework of the EU Market Abuse Regulation to ensure transparency in market operations.
