RocketReach Partners with Trestle to Boost Contact Verification

Sales intelligence platform RocketReach has integrated Trestle’s identity verification APIs to scrub its database of 190 million phone numbers. The collaboration introduces a new grading system designed to filter out invalid contacts, with internal data suggesting that verified numbers are twice as likely to result in successful connections.

The partnership addresses a common industry pain point where standard validation tools only confirm if a number exists without assessing its quality. By incorporating Trestle’s proprietary activity signals, RocketReach now assigns confidence grades ranging from A to F to every record. This granular approach allows sales and recruiting teams to prioritize high-quality leads while automatically removing invalid entries from their workflows.

Beyond basic verification, the integration enables users to search for contacts based on specific line types, such as mobile or direct dial, backed by Trestle’s stated 99% accuracy rate. RocketReach has opted to include these features for Pro, Ultimate, and Custom tier users at no additional cost, departing from the industry trend of gating verification services behind premium paywalls. According to RocketReach CEO Scott Kim, the shift is intended to provide businesses with more reliable data as they navigate increasingly automated sales environments.
