The platform allows financial firms to execute repo transactions using distributed ledger technology without abandoning their existing trading environments. By enabling the movement of tokenized collateral between counterparties in real time, the system aims to improve capital efficiency and streamline settlement processes across global markets.

Horacio Barakat, Global Head of Digital Innovation at Broadridge, noted that institutions are increasingly relying on this infrastructure for core financing activities. As firms move beyond testing and into daily market operations, the platform serves as a bridge between traditional capital markets and emerging digital asset ecosystems. Broadridge currently processes over $18 trillion in daily trading volume across its combined traditional and digital platforms, reinforcing its position as a primary provider of post-trade and settlement technology.
