TEN Holdings reports revenue dip as it pivots to AI and acquisitions

TEN Holdings reported a second-quarter revenue decline to $731,000, a 34.5% drop compared to the same period last year. CEO Virgilio Torres attributed the shortfall to the timing of customer contracts, which he expects to materialize in the coming months, rather than a fundamental erosion of market demand.

The Pennsylvania-based event technology firm, which operates through its subsidiary Ten Events, faced a challenging quarter as platform usage revenue fell by 45.1%. While professional services remained steady, the company saw its net loss widen to $3.0 million, influenced by higher administrative costs associated with its public company status. Despite these headwinds, the balance sheet reached a turning point on June 30, 2026, when the firm finalized a $7.5 million stock offering. This infusion raised cash reserves to $5.8 million, up from $1.6 million at the start of the year.

Management is now shifting focus toward aggressive expansion. The company plans to deploy its new capital to accelerate product development, specifically targeting AI-driven analytics, automated captioning, and improved workflow capabilities. Furthermore, Torres signaled a disciplined acquisition strategy aimed at broadening the company’s recurring revenue base. By leveraging its partnership with Webinar.net and integrating new technical features, the company intends to capture pending opportunities that were pushed into the third quarter, aiming to stabilize its financial trajectory through the end of the year.
