This data serves as a pivotal bridge toward the program's upcoming Critical Design Review, keeping the project on schedule for a 2030 deployment. Christopher Jewell, vice president of the NGI program, noted that the results provide the necessary validation to finalize the interceptor’s architecture and accelerate its integration into the existing Ground-Based Midcourse Defense network.
