Investors File Class Action Against ZoomInfo Following 33% Stock Crash

A securities fraud class action lawsuit now targets ZoomInfo Technologies following a dramatic 33% collapse in the company’s share price. Investors allege the firm misled them about the effectiveness of its AI-integrated products, which allegedly triggered widespread customer rejection and a sudden revision of critical revenue guidance.

The litigation, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, centers on claims that ZoomInfo executives misrepresented the impact of their AI platform on customer retention. While the company previously touted its technology as a driver for daily engagement and growth, the reality proved different. On May 11, 2026, the company slashed its annual revenue guidance, citing customer confusion and a subsequent pause in purchasing decisions.

This disclosure wiped out nearly a third of the company’s market value overnight, with shares falling from $6.04 to $4.06. Lead counsel Bleichmar Fonti & Auld LLP is now inviting affected shareholders to join the action, with a court-appointed lead plaintiff deadline set for August 24, 2026. The complaint asserts violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, specifically targeting the gap between the firm's optimistic public statements regarding its AI strategy and the actual performance of its products in the market.
