The integration of Steeplechase Advisors brings a team of seasoned professionals into J.S. Held’s Strategic Advisory Practice, adding depth to services including receiverships, liquidity analysis, and operational turnaround execution. By joining forces with a firm that has spent over a decade advising lenders and boards, J.S. Held bolsters its ability to handle complex, high-stakes insolvency mandates across industries ranging from retail and real estate to luxury goods.

This expansion follows a disciplined pattern of growth, with the firm having previously absorbed Phoenix Management, Stapleton Group, and MorrisAnderson. Together, these entities create a platform of more than 85 specialists. Jim Cullen, founder of Steeplechase, noted that the merger provides his clients with access to a broader bench of financial experts and capital market resources through Phoenix IB. For J.S. Held, the deal secures senior leadership with a proven track record in distressed business litigation, further diversifying the firm's reach within the legal and private equity communities.
