Founded in 2021, the company now supports a client base of over 800 organizations, ranging from non-profits to Fortune 500 giants like Aston Martin, S&P Global, and Papa John’s. The surge in adoption follows the integration of Cici, an AI agent designed to automate email creation, and the launch of Journeys, an engine that streamlines long-term communication sequences. This focus on automation aligns with industry shifts, as 68% of communications professionals now identify task efficiency as their primary objective.

For CEO Rick Knudtson, the achievement serves as a validation of the company's decision to base its operations in the Midwest rather than traditional coastal tech hubs. Workshop currently maintains a workforce of 140 employees. Beyond its financial growth, the firm recently gained peer recognition in the HR sector, winning a Ragan Employee Communications Award for its podcast, TalkShop. The Inc. 5000 list tracks revenue growth over a three-year period, placing Workshop at the forefront of a competitive landscape for internal enterprise software.
