The annual Inc. 5000 index tracks revenue growth across independent U.S. businesses, requiring applicants to demonstrate significant expansion over a three-year window. For Interplay Learning, this latest recognition follows a string of industry honors, including a designation as the 2026 Career Readiness Solution of the Year and a placement on TIME’s World’s Top EdTech Companies list. The company’s growth trajectory highlights a broader market pivot toward digital, risk-free training environments in sectors like manufacturing and industrial crafts.

Doug Donovan, CEO and founder of Interplay Learning, attributes this consistent growth to the urgent requirement for job-ready talent. By integrating VR, AI, and 3D simulations, the company provides educational paths that bypass traditional classroom limitations. The platform, which recently expanded its capabilities through the acquisition of Industrial Training International, has now trained over 500,000 individuals, aiming to bridge the gap between technical instruction and on-the-job expertise.
