Tucson Inventor Designs Ice-Free Cooling Solution

Seeking an alternative to the messy, unreliable nature of traditional ice packs, a Tucson-based inventor has developed the Chill Factor, a patent-pending cooling device designed to maintain stable temperatures for food, beverages, and sensitive medical supplies, including organs intended for transplant, without the risk of moisture or melting.

The invention eliminates the need for loose ice, addressing a common pain point for campers, tailgaters, and medical professionals who require precise thermal regulation during transit. By removing the melt factor, the device offers a cleaner, more consistent storage environment for items that risk spoilage or degradation when exposed to fluctuating conditions.

A working prototype currently exists, demonstrating the unit's portability and ease of use. InventHelp, which manages the patent-pending design, is actively seeking manufacturers and marketers interested in licensing the product for commercial distribution. Interested parties can contact the company’s Pittsburgh headquarters to review technical specifications or discuss production partnerships.
