NameSilo Portfolio Startup Marlow Debuts AI Software Development Platform

NameSilo Technologies Corp., which holds a 36% stake in the venture, provided the development resources necessary to bring the platform to market. Unlike many AI-assisted coding tools that require users to host applications within specific, rigid environments, Marlow allows creators to deploy and manage software on infrastructure of their own choosing. This approach is intended to appeal to founders and developers building everything from SaaS applications and business dashboards to internal prototypes.

Paul Andreola, CEO of NameSilo, noted that the investment reflects a belief in the shifting landscape of software production, where speed must be balanced with long-term ownership. The platform is currently onboarding an initial cohort of 500 beta users. Kristaps Ronka, a director at NameSilo and co-founder of Marlow, emphasized that the platform is designed to prevent software from becoming 'trapped' in a specific ecosystem, ensuring that users retain the freedom to move or modify their code as their infrastructure needs evolve.
