Neros Secures $250 Million to Accelerate Autonomous Drone Production

A $2.5 billion valuation marks the latest milestone for Torrance-based Neros Technologies, which secured $250 million in Series C funding co-led by Sequoia Capital and the American Strategic Technology Fund. The capital injection aims to ramp up the manufacturing of autonomous aerial platforms intended for immediate deployment in active combat theaters.

The funding round includes backing from Valor Equity Partners, Thiel Capital, and Spark Capital, among others, to support the development of the Archer AI FPV platform and the Bandit counter-UAS interceptor. These systems integrate terminal guidance and GPS-denied navigation, capabilities designed to neutralize threats like Shahed-style drones. By emphasizing multi-asset control, Neros intends to move beyond manual operation toward coordinated swarming tactics while maintaining the cost-efficiency required for attritable mass.

CEO Soren Monroe-Anderson stated that the company remains focused on its goal of producing one million drones annually. The new investment allows Neros to vertically integrate its component stack and expand its domestic production capacity, positioning the firm to supply the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, and various allied forces across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. With Archer AI and Bandit slated for deployment by the end of 2026, the company is positioning itself to dominate the mass-manufactured small drone segment.
