Directed by Justin Chon, the film dramatizes the life of the notorious Bonanno family hitman known for his lethal fighting style. The screenplay, penned by Chon, Davidson, and Joseph Gay, draws from Philip Carlo’s book The Butcher: Anatomy of a Mafia Psychopath. While Davidson anchors the film as Pitera, the ensemble cast features Paul Walter Hauser as DEA agent Jim Hunt, alongside Camila Mendes and Simon Rex.
Worley’s involvement marks a significant expansion of his creative and financial portfolio. His character, Sensei Matt, provides a critical link to the discipline that defined Pitera’s criminal career. This role follows a string of international projects for the actor, including a turn as mob boss Giuseppe “Joe the Boss” Masseria in the upcoming Budapest-filmed Killing Hitler and a performance in Jamie Adams' Tangled Up in Blue, which features Quentin Tarantino and Kylie Minogue. As he balances his work with Second Chance Pictures and a slate that includes the upcoming Cocaine Shark, Worley continues to position himself as a dual force in independent cinema.
