Burlington Breaks Ground on New Fox Hill Elementary School

Silver shovels turned soil in Burlington this week, marking the official start of construction for the new Fox Hill Elementary School. The project serves as the latest chapter in a long-standing partnership between the town and local contractors, aiming to modernize educational infrastructure by early 2028.

The facility is designed to prioritize flexible learning environments and sustainable architecture, building on the town's existing educational investments. For CTA Construction Managers, this project is the sixth major collaboration with Burlington over the past 15 years, a list that includes the town's police station and various municipal facilities. Principal Lyle Coghlin noted that the firm values the sustained trust Burlington has placed in their team to deliver long-term community assets.

The development relies on a deeply established project team. DiNisco Design, which has worked alongside CTA for over two decades, handled the architectural vision, while Dore & Whittier serves as the Owner’s Project Manager. According to Donna DiNisco, the design emphasizes adaptability to ensure the building meets the evolving needs of future students. With the structural steel phase already underway, the town expects the building to be substantially complete in early 2028.
