QuickLogic Projects Profitability as Revenue Climbs

QuickLogic Corporation reported a significant revenue increase of 48.7% for the second fiscal quarter of 2026, reaching $5.5 million. Bolstered by strong demand for its embedded FPGA technology and new product lines, the San Jose-based semiconductor firm is now targeting profitability for the latter half of the year.

The company’s growth trajectory remains aggressive, with CEO Brian Faith narrowing the firm’s full-year outlook to a 70% to 80% growth range. This optimistic forecast hinges on the continued adoption of its eFPGA Hard IP and radiation-hardened solutions, which have secured new development contracts and customer evaluations during the quarter. Notably, the company’s new product revenue climbed to approximately $4.7 million, representing a 59.7% jump over the same period last year.

Financial discipline has accompanied this expansion, as reflected in the improved gross margins. QuickLogic reported a GAAP gross margin of 43.9%, a substantial rise from 25.9% in the second quarter of 2025. While the company still posted a GAAP net loss of $0.9 million, this represents a narrowing of losses compared to the $2.7 million loss recorded a year prior. With its inclusion in the Russell 3000 and 2000 indices, QuickLogic is positioning its portfolio of reprogrammable logic and post-quantum cryptographic IP for broader market integration through the remainder of 2026.
