In his expanded capacity, Wetzel will oversee the firm’s investment analysis and financial planning divisions. President and CEO Stephen Wetzel noted that the promotion reflects the incoming executive’s contributions to the firm’s growth and its ability to serve family clients. Wetzel returns to full-time duties at the firm after balancing his responsibilities with his graduate studies.

Before joining Prometheus Capital, Wetzel worked at Goldman Sachs & Co. as an investment banking analyst and associate. During his tenure there, he advised on more than $8 billion in transactions, including $6 billion in mergers and acquisitions. He holds a degree in finance from Fordham University and maintains a focus on value investing. The firm currently operates as an independent, family-owned SEC-registered investment advisor.
